Adding Audio Description So All Children Can Hear the Illustrations in Children's Books On Our Described and Captioned Media Program Video Channel
Our Video Channel
The mission of Imagination Videobooks is simple. We believe all children should have equal access to early education. We create and distribute accessible videobooks and audiobooks of existing illustrated children's books.
Our videos include audio description for children who are blind or low vision, and captions and some ASL for deaf children.
Through the Described and Captioned Media Program, funded by the U.S. Department of Education, we are adding simultaneous ASL signing.
We want to reinforce children’s core values, such as kindness and empowerment, through the creative forces of children’s book authors, illustrators, publishers and narrators.
Sample with Audio Description:
Children often take their mothers for granted...
This beautiful book is made to help every child understand how many things mothers actually do to help their kids feel loved, happy, and safe.
With Audio Description, Captions, and ASL Signing! Wilhelmina had one wish—she wished she didn't look like this.
